B&W Formulary & Process
This stuff is really only for my own info, so that I don't have to keep looking it up seperately, and I stay consistent. I don't necessarily recommend it for you and your materials.
Fluid Amounts
Paterson tanks (which I'm using) say they need 290 ml of fluid for each 35mm reel of film loaded. I think I can afford to put in 300 ml to be safe. 120 roll film is listed as needing a 500 ml capacity per roll.
That would give the following developer mixing amounts (rounding up the developer):
| # Of Films | Mix Ratio | Total Volume | Developer To Add | Water To Add |
| 1 x 35 | 1+50 | 300 ml | 6 ml | 294 ml |
| 2 x 35 | 1+50 | 600 ml | 12 ml | 588 ml |
| 3 x 35 | 1+50 | 900 ml | 18 ml | 882 ml |
| 1 x 120 | 1+50 | 500 ml | 10 ml | 490 ml |
| 1 x 120 + 1 x 35 |
1+50 | 800 ml | 16 ml | 784 ml |
| 2 x 120 | 1+50 | 1000 ml | 20 ml | 980 ml |
Developing
The standard is to agitate for the first 10 seconds out of every minute. TIME is in minutes in these charts, with 16.75 meaning 16 minutes, 45 seconds. Dig?

Stopping
Stop for at least 30 seconds in a solution of 1.4% acetic acid. That means mixing household vinegar (5% acetic acid) at 280 ml + 720 ml to yeild 1 liter. It's a one-shot thing.
Fixing
Currently using Ilford Rapid Fixer at a 1+4 dilution for a duration of 5 mins, agitating for 10 sec. every minute. A 1 liter batch of this solution (200 ml fixer + 800ml water) should soup 25 x 36 exposure rolls of 35mm film. I'm counting 120 roll film as 2 rolls of 35mm.
Rinsing
10 minutes of rinse in running water, within about 5 degrees of processing temp. A drop of wetting agent goes into the last containerfull of rinse.
Drying
Keep the cat away if possible. Those strips of film make tempting, dangling tendrils.
