The What's New? Page

Boy, but it's crufty and neglected in here. Someone should spend a little time cleaning up the old dust and negative attitudes. I had to get through a ten minute coughing fit before I could even start typing.
The site is moving to Amazon S3 storage. Not much really goes on here, so there's no point paying anyone for a full server instance. Originally I had some minimal web space for free as a perk from my domain registrar, but they're done with that arrangement. Also moving to NameSilo as a registrar, as their prices are low, they seem to have a good reputation for ease of use, and they offer API update access that I can use for dynamic DNS purposes.
After all the changes over the years, I hadn't expected Flickr to still be up and feeding photos to the site the same way, but it's nice to have in place.

Quick check in to swap my e-mail link on the contact page for a reCAPCHA protected link. I don't need any more REAL ROLEX DEAL or PENIS ENLARGE PATCH!1!!.

It's the initial launch of any real presence for this site, which — just for the record — has been registered as a domain since January, 2002.
- A scrappy masthead for the site
- Photography, Musings, Contact pages, Colophon, and this What's New page
- Photography: A Travelogue for my October 2005 Halifax trip
- Photography: My B&W Formulary & Process
- Musings: My "Meaning Of Life" scrapbook
To kick off, I'm going to see how hosting all of the site's photos on Flickr.com works out.
And all the controversial old content is a long–distant memory. Sonny, did I ever tell you the story of the time before there was pie?
