The Famous Peggy's Cove
|
As seen in so many postcards and frames on Grandmothers' bathroom walls. I always assumed there was a famous “Anne Of Green Gables” type story that went along with this place, but as far as I can tell, there is no series of dramatic novels about “Peggy Of The Cove”. It is a pretty romantic piece of landscape, though. |

Dick, MEB, and R. stand on the rocks at the base of the lighthouse, basking in the Sun's warm lens flare and gazing out at the landscape. |
|
And this is the beautiful shoreline you see from that very spot. |

It's not funny MEB. Injury And Death. |
|
There's a few brave souls that still live in Peggy's Cove. You'd have to have a superhuman tolerance for tourists. I'd get so tired of boneheads gawking day-in and day-out that I'd go fully insane and start stealing and eating their children. |

Truck back down the road a ways and you get a nice view of the Cove's skyline. There's not a lot of good ground for building on, so it turns out beautifully sparse and rocky there. |
|
Plenty of pretty rock out here in Nova Scotia. It's almost as nice as it looks on T.V. |

Puppydogs and sunshine. Every day's a fantasy come true in this Atlantic wonderland. |

One last peek back. |
